October 27, 2004 - Lance and Thomas reporting!
15 kids showed up for the bible study this week. We are working on
remembering the chapters of the Old Testament. Rachel could say 34 of the 39 chapters--who's gonna break her record next week? We talked about the story of "Jonah and the Whale."
We reviewed the other books of the bible. 1&2 Samuel, 2 Kings, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemia, Ester and lots more. We then took a test over what we read.
We shared what people talk and learn about at their own church. At the
end we had snacks and played charades. We had a great time!
Jackson Harwell brought snickers and orange pumpkin sugar cookies. Each cookie had a name of each kid on them. They tasted even better than they looked! Thank you Harwells!Click on the collage above and go directly to see the slideshow!

What happened Oct 13, 2004 by Julia, Elizabeth, and Lauren
We reviewed the first 8 books of the bible; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. Then we learned the next 10 books; 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, and Job. 
Each person had a favorite Bible verse or story that they shared. Justin had John 3:16, Julia had Daniel and the lions den, Brooke and Kelsey had Ephesians 6:11...and many more. We had awesome snacks! Yummy cookies shaped like leaves and stars, melt in your mouth brownies, and Capri Sun juice...wow!All provided by the Jackson family...our tummies thank you!
